Two green havens to discover: the Jardin des Plantes du Mans and the Parc de Tessé
Le Mans is an immensely appealing and beautiful city where history has left magnificent testimonies such as the Cité Plantagenêt and its half-timbered medieval houses, the exquisite Saint-Julien Cathedral and the well-preserved Gallo-Roman ramparts. That said, Le Mans is also a city of delightful public green spaces.

Very close to the cathedral is the Parc de Tessé, an English-style park distinguished by its remarkable trees, including two sumptuous purple beech trees, and its numerous flowerbeds.
