Where heritage meets horsepower
On September 16th and 17th, the 40th edition of Heritage Days will take place throughout France. A stay at the Hotel Le Mans Country Club during this exceptional weekend will give you the opportunity to discover all the richness of the city’s ancient heritage. Don’t miss a visit to the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum. It has many wonderful surprises in store for you!
A museum like no other
Entirely dedicated to the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit and the races which have taken place there, and still do to this day, the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum is a treasure house of photo and video archives and, of course, the cars that have featured so prominently in the history of motor racing, as well as artifacts that belonged to the drivers. Heritage Days offer the perfect opportunity to discover or rediscover this exciting museum, especially since the theme chosen for this year’s event is ‘Sports Heritage’; beautifully apt as we race towards the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Special activities
For these two exceptional dates, the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum is offering activities that will appeal to young and old, enthusiasts and novices alike. First, head to the museum esplanade for some fun miniature car races with the Sellois Modelling Club. Then, immerse yourself in the wonders of mechanics with the workshop volunteers who restore and maintain the beautiful old cars. Continue with 20-minute flash tours devoted to the history of the drivers. And conclude with the big 24 Hours Quiz, which will give you the chance to win a ride in one of the museum's legendary cars.
Just 20 minutes from the Hotel Le Mans Country Club, the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit invites you to enjoy this year’s Heritage Days and the 24 Hours Museum offers you a fun-packed family outing!
